Sadie Amara Calvano is an actress from America that has gained fame for portraying Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom "Mom". Calvano grew up in California she was initially fascinated by in competitive gymnastics. She later decided to pursue a career as an actor. Her first screen appearance was in 2010 on a segment of CBS series 'NCIS'. The biographical crime movie J Edgar was her big screen debut just a year following. Over the years she's established herself as among the most promising actors in today's business. The performance she gave on 'NCIS which was nominated for the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance of a TV Series with a Guest Actress between the ages of 11-15. In 2013, she was nominated for yet another Young Artist Award for her guest appearance in Disney XD's comedy series 'Kickin' It'. Calvano was one of the principal cast members of 'Mom' in its the first three seasons. She also appeared in several episodes of Season 4. Calvano's role as a rising star on Mom was recognized with an award called the Gracie Allen Award, which is awarded to female actors.
