Anne Curtis

Anne Curtis Smith is a Filipino Australian actress, model, TV host and singer-songwriter. She has won a variety of prizes throughout her career. These include two FAMAS Awards two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards as well as five PMPC Star Awards in the TV category. In addition, she was awarded two Gawad Urian Awards and 8 PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Curtis starred on several TV shows, such as Hiram kampanerang kuba (2005) Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa 2008 Green Rose 2011 and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw 2013. She played the famous Komiks the character Dyesebel in the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel. Her other roles include hosting the popular midday show It's Showtime, from 2009 until 2020. Anne Curtis, born on 17th February 1985 in the Philippines and Australia is an actor, television presenter entrepreneur recording artist. Her long-running career has been awarded numerous prizes, including the two FAMAS Awards two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards as well being awarded five PMPC Star Awards. Also, she was selected for 2 Gawad Urian Awards as well as 8 PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Curtis starred in several television series including Hiram (2004-2005) Kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino Dyosa (2008) Green Rose (2011) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013). She portrayed in 2014 the iconic Komiks character Dyesebel in the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel. In addition, she hosted the show that aired at midday, Showtime, from 2009 until 2020. Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina born in Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith who is an Australian attorney. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga which is located in Victoria, Australia. Her father got wed to Ojales before 1982. Her younger sister Jasmine is also an actor. Clare was a sister-in-law on the family of their father. Clare passed away at the age of four months old in 2007.
